El Mestizo is the first Food Hall in Costa Rica, a new concept of global trend. The main objective was considered and designed as a space to have experiences, good food and a pleasant environment to share. There is a common area of tables and each Chef has a bar to develop his gastronomic proposal. In our design we look for local materials such as natural wood, the floor of pasta, and wood painted under a range of colors that enhance the sensations and textures. Lighting is also an important element, creating warmth and environments outside and inside the Mestizo. One of the most interesting elements is the green wall that seeks to create an imaginary in the diners about the proceeding of the food, this because all the Chefs use fresh, seasonal ingredients.
